DraftKings college football wide receiver picks October 3
Top Tier:
Temple is by far the most pass-happy team on this slate, but East Carolina has been better against the pass so far. Jadan Blue is going to see enough work regardless of how the game plays out for the Owls, but that may not be the case for Isaiah Wright. Wright caught just two of the four passes thrown his way against Georgia Tech, a game in which the passing game struggled overall. Beyond Blue, Temple receivers are a crapshoot.
A prime example is Branden Mack. Mack had nine receptions in the opening game. He has eight combined over the three games since. Mack had 130 yards in the opener. He has 98 yards in the three games since.

Middle Tier:
Remember Ricky Proehl? His son Blake is the top receiver for East Carolina. His quarterback limits the effectiveness of Proehl, but the big play ability makes Proehl worth a look. He had 100 yards on just two catches last week against Old Dominion. That highlights both the risk and reward of using him and the rest of the ECU receivers.
Bargain Shoppers:
Receiver is a barren wasteland on this DraftKings college football slate. Neither South Alabama nor Georgia Southern throw a lot. Kawaan Baker is the top receiver for the Jaguars and he has only caught 12 passes in five games.
No Georgia Southern receiver has a reception in more than three of the five games. In fact, only one two have a reception in more than one game. I hope you like roulette…..
