DraftKings Showdown: Flex

Jared Goff – $10,200

The Seahawk defense is roughly the middle of the pack in terms pass defense allowing for Goff and his receivers to be key plays in your flex. I prefer Wilson to Goff in terms of quarterbacks on this slate, but will have Goff in all Kupp, Woods, Cooks Captained lineups.

Todd Gurley – $8,800

The Rams continue to say that Todd Gurley remains a full go but their usage says otherwise. He has yet to touch the ball more than 17 times this season and has been very limited in the passing game before last week. His usage in the passing game last week is more of a product of the 68 pass attempts and game script. I currently have him projected for 13 carries and 4 targets as he is likely to stay under 20 touches yet again. He is still one of the most talented players on this slate and should be owned accordingly.

Will Dissly $7,600

Last week Will Dissly was a system play as the Cardinals do not defend the tight end. With the trade of Nick Vannett to the Steelers and his ever-growing relationship with Russell Wilson, Dissly is on my weekly radar for this Seattle offense. He has seen steady volume in the passing game over the last three weeks (20 Targets), and I look for that to continue as he has now locked up the starting role.

Rashaad Penny – $5,000

While I do not think Penny plays on the short week as he is dealing with a hamstring injury, he is one you must have in a lot of your builds if he does go. Chris Carson has struggled to hold onto the football adding value to the number two back in this offense.
