DraftKings showdown Thursday Night Football: Seattle Seahawks vs Los Angeles Rams
DraftKings Showdown: Cheap Options
Gerald Everett – $3,200
I have been waiting for the light to come on for the former second-round pick out of UAB. While he still is likely to finish fourth in targets behind Kupp, Woods and Cooks, Everett has some value at only $3200. While it is likely that he only gets 3-5 targets, he will be in near the goal-line and has plenty of athleticism to break a big play in the passing game.

C.J. Prosise – $2,800
If Penny is out again, Prosise value is boosted in what could be a spot where the Seahawks are trailing and featuring the passing catching specialist. At $2800 he is simply too cheap, should Penny be out and Carson continues to struggle to hold onto the football.
Tyler Higbee – $2,000
Much like Everett at only $2000 Higbee only needs a few catches to pay off his value on this slate. In his three games, he has seen 15 targets, with the majority of those being in the red-zone making him a cheap flex option to finish out premium builds.
David Moore – $600
After missing the first two weeks of the season due to injury, David Moore has seen his snap share increase from 24% to 40%. The pre-season starter outside with Metcalf, Moore should see more snaps Thursday night making him the best cheap option on the slate.
Jaron Brown – $1,400
Fighting for that third receiver spot opposite of Metcalf is Jaron Brown. With the return of David Moore, Brown’s usage should continue to dip. Playing over 70% of the snaps Week 1-3, Moore saw his totals drop to 56% last week. While both players will only play 45-60% of snaps at $1400 or less both are too cheap this week. I will have a sprinkle of Brown in lineups in which I am trying to jam in as many top-tier guys as possible. I would be looking to add Brown or Moore in those lineups that fit shootout game scripts.
Luke Wilson – $200
In his first game back with the Seahawks, Wilson saw two targets and was on the field for 25% of snaps. With him seeing the majority of his snaps in the red zone, Wilson becomes a viable option to sprinkle in your 20 or so lineups at minimum cost.
DraftKings Showdown: Special Teams / Defensive Flex Options
My favorite special teams play is Greg “The Leg” Zuerlein as he can easily knock in several from beyond 50 yards. Both teams should be able to have some success on offense making the kickers viable on this slate. With Goff’s struggles on the road and under pressure, the Seahawks defense is in play as well at only $4000.
Greg Zuerlein $3,400
Jason Myers – $3,600
Seahawks – $4,000
Rams – $4,000
DraftKings Showdown: Game Script Thoughts
The Rams opened as a one-point road favorite this week against the Seattle Seahawks. The total opened at 48 and has now been bet up to 49. The money has come in on the home team, as the Seahawks are now a one-point favorite. Much like Todd Gurley, I am not a fan of Thursday night football as both teams have very short weeks which typically leads to lower scoring games. The majority of these showdown slates have had little to no offense, hopefully, that changes this week. While I do like both offenses, I think both struggle early before finding their way. While I give the short week coaching edge to McVay, I would not play a side and go with the under 49 in what could take some time for both offenses to get going.
