Zenit St. Petersburg face Benfica at Gazprom Arena on Wednesday, Oct. 2. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

In their second game of the Champions League group stage Zenit St. Petersburg host Benfica at Gazprom Arena. Zenit opened the tournament with a draw against Lyon. Benfica lost 2-1 against RB Leipzig in their first home game of the tournament.

Zenit are in a tight race near the top of the Russian Premier Liga. Manager Sergey Semak’s team has picked up 23 points in their first 11 games of the season. Artem Dzyuba has been incredible for Zenit this season. Dzyuba is driving the Zenit attack, scoring five goals and assisting on seven others. The Russian striker will be joined in the front by Brazilian winger Malcom. The duo will look to break down Benfica’s defense as Zenit try and pick up their first win of the group stage.

Benfica, as they always, will battle Porto and Sporting Lisbon for the Portuguese league title. The Eagles have picked up 18 points in their first seven games of the season. After losing their first Champions League game against Leipzig, Benfica will have to be much better against Zenit if they are going to win. Pizzi is again having a great season for Benfica. The Portuguese winger has a team-best eight goals in all competitions and has assisted three goals.
