Daily Fantasy Football: Sample Lineup and Overview

This is where I try to give you my roster construction strategy each week and I toss out a sample lineup. Please remember, the sample lineup is not intended to be a “plug and play” lineup. But rather it is used to illustrate the players, games, and types of correlation plays that I will be targeting this week.

More from DFS

This week feels like a week to eat some chalk at running back and differentiate with your quarterbacks, wide receivers, and tight ends. I am going to have exposure to all three of the chalky running backs and mix in my pivots into those lineups but I will likely not fade all three big backs in the same lineup very often if at all.

I always want a correlation in my lineups. Every GPP lineup that I build is going to have 2-3 pieces of a game and most lineups are going to have several different correlations within them.

This particular lineup is a Brady-Gordon stack with two really cheap value plays in Knox and Tate that are going to allow me to jam in 3 big backs. A lot of my lineups are going to be built this way with running backs eating up a large chunk of my salary cap. The Steelers and Bucs defenses are so cheap that they are going to allow me to spend up to roster at least one receiver other than the one I’m stacking with my quarterback, which in this build is Chris Godwin.

My top three games stacks this week will be Dallas-Green Bay, Arizona-Cincinnatti, and Houston-Atlanta.

QB: Tom Brady

RB: David Johnson

RB: Aaron Jones

WR: Auden Tate

WR: Chris Godwin

WR: Josh Gordon

TE: Dawson Knox

Flex: Ezekiel Elliot

D/ST: Buccaneers
