3. Sheffield United win at Watford

Newly promoted, Sheffield United travel to face Watford this weekend in a game which they’ll certainly think they can win. The Hornets are currently propping up the Premier League table with just two points to their name and their poor form doesn’t look like changing any time soon.

Many might have expected Sheffield United to be in the position that Watford find themselves in after seven games but that’s certainly not the case. United have had a strong start to the season and if it weren’t for a goalkeeping error they would have probably taken a point from league leaders, Liverpool last weekend.

With that in mind they should come into this game with no fear but they need to make sure they’re not over confident at the same time. They played brilliantly on the road against Everton and Blades fans will be hoping for a similar performance this weekend.

Quique Sanches Flores has only had three games in charge at Watford in this second spell as club manager but you already feel like the Spaniard desperately needs a win. Watford just aren’t doing it right now and it’s hard to see where their inspiration will come from currently.

Chris Wilder’s United are hard to break down and effective on the counter-attack as they’ve demonstrated at Everton and Chelsea already this season. If they play anything like they did in those games then they should stand a very good chance of taking all three points this weekend.

This game will be a close encounter with Sheffield United denying Watford any clear goalscoring opportunities. The Blades will hit the Hornets on the break and take their chances when they come to win this match 2-0.
