NFL DFS Week 5: Fantasy football cash game breakdown
NFL DFS Week 5: Fantasy football cash game breakdown
Golden Tate – FanDuel $4500 DraftKings $4600
I feel gross putting him here but I do think he’ll be extremely chalky on FanDuel despite the matchup against the tough Minnesota defense. I highly doubt he gets any shadow coverage from Rhodes or anything and we have no idea what kind of relationship he has with Danny Dimes. However, FanDuel messed up his price (shocker) and didn’t account for him coming back this week. Even with a floor performance, the opportunity cost of being able to afford so many other high priced fantasy producers makes Tate worth it (on FanDuel at least) which makes me think he’ll be high owned there. You do not have to play him on DraftKings.
Chris Godwin – FanDuel $7800 DraftKings $6900
Have you tithed at the church of Jameis Winston and Chris “his holiness” Godwin? The guy is absolutely incredible and it might be the only thing all the professional Twitter touts got right from the preseason. He’s been a monster on the other side of Mike Evans and I see that happening again this week. Lattimore should be shadowing Evans for strategic reasons but it’s also important to know there’s some history there. Bad blood if you will. Lattimore is going to try to keep Evans contained and he has a few times in the past. If you believe that to be the case again, Godwin should do quite well and see a lot of targets.
DeAndre Hopkins – FanDuel $8500 DraftKings $7800
It’s really hard to not love Nuk coming off of a bad game. He’s not the type of guy to put up a dud twice in a row plus we love Watson and this passing game this week. I think a lot of people will be going Will Fuller this week which I get, but I don’t know if he’s safe enough for cash. Hopkins has an incredibly safe floor with a ton of upside which is always nice to have in your FanDuel or DraftKings cash games. He’s currently projected to be one of the highest owned receivers on FanDuel and should be able to get you at least 15 points there. Unlike running back this week, there are a handful of other receivers I like too and plenty of directions we can go.
