Wide receiver is where I may have a few surprising rankings to some people. I’m extremely high on Chris Godwin this week, as I have him as a top three play right there with studs Julio Jones and Michael Thomas. I think that the Bucs/Saints game will be a shootout, and Godwin will dominate out of the slot with Marshon Lattimore matched up on Mike Evans. The Saints may rely more on steady, quick throws to Thomas to move the ball down the field, making him an elite play as well.

Along the same line, I think Jarvis Landry has a good chance to repeat his performance from a week ago against the 49ers. San Fran has been a top defense all-around in their first three games, but it looks like the Browns have finally gotten their offense going. With Richard Sherman and Ahkello Weatherspoon matched up on Odell Beckham Jr., Landry should be able to exploit favorable matchups, get open, and make plays with the ball in his hands. If he is truly healthy after a concussion last week, Landry has top ten potential again this week.

Other receivers with good matchups include Allen Robinson vs OAK (who I like even more with Chase Daniel at QB), Julian Edelman and Josh Gordon vs WAS, Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor vs NYJ, Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs vs NYG, and D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel vs JAC without Jalen Ramsey.

Amari Cooper will face a tough Packers secondary and a rising star in cornerback Jaire Alexander. Emmanuel Sanders and Courtland Sutton had great games last week but will go up against a stout Chargers defense this week. On the flip side, number one fantasy wide receiver Keenan Allen will look to continue his dominating season against one of the best corners in the game, Chris Harris Jr.

I’d also try to avoid Tyrell Williams vs CHI, D.J. Chark and Dede Westbrook vs CAR, and John Brown vs TEN. Although Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Geronimo Allison will be Aaron Rodgers top targets this week with Davante Adams out, as I said earlier, I don’t think this game and matchup will be good for either passing game.
