The Patriots have statistically been the best defense in the league this season. They are facing one of the worst offenses in the league that is already on their third different starting quarterback. They are the number one play here. Close behind are the intimidating Chicago Bears facing a Raiders offense lacking a lot of talent. They are a must-start as well.

The Eagles and Panthers defenses have great matchups this week against the Jets and Jaguars. Luke Falk will be under center for the Jets one more week with Sam Darnold still out, and the Jets have been awful without him. The Jaguars lit up the Broncos defense last week, but did give up five sacks. The Panther defense has been very good this year and could get to rookie quarterback Gardner Minshew early and often.

The Cardinals face a Bengals offensive line that served Andy Dalton on a silver platter to the Steelers last week, allowing eight sacks. The Cardinals D has at least two sacks in every game this year, so they should be a solid streaming option or DFS play in week five.

The Broncos defense with new head coach Vic Fangio has been incredibly disappointing, and are now without young star Bradley Chubb. They are droppable at this point and are the lucky team to face a Chargers team now with Melvin Gordon.

The Steelers and Ravens matchup likely won’t be their typical defensive battles. The Ravens offense is actually the strength of their team nowadays, and the Steelers will have to try to keep up. The Packers and Cowboys defenses are wildcards, and could be solid, but both offenses are talented enough to make the defenses questionable plays in week five.
