My guy Joey Slye has been absolutely sensational this year. I was able to snag him in a couple drafts after the news of Graham Gano’s injury, and boy has he made me look smart. This week the Panthers face a talented Jags defense that has struggled a bit this year. They may give up some sustained drives but make a stand in their own territory to force field goals. Same idea with new Chargers kicker Chase McLaughlin against the Broncos.
Mike Nugent is now kicking for the Patriots with Stephen Gostkowski out for the season, and he should get plenty of extra points against the Redskins. Harrison Butker, Jake Elliott, and Dan Bailey may find themselves kicking quite a few extra points as well against sub-par defenses.
Daniel Carlson and Dustin Hopkins are kicking for offenses that may not enter field goal range the entirety of their games. Justin Tucker and Chris Boswell, Brett Maher and Mason Crosby, and Cairo Santos and Stephen Hauschka may find themselves in games that could go back and forth with field goals, as all teams have solid defenses capable of making a red zone stand.
