NBA Preseason DFS: Bucks @ Bulls

Bucks: D.J. Wilson is not likely to play. Everyone else is healthy.

Bulls: Chandler Hutchinson is OUT. Shaq Harrison, Wendell Carter Jr., and Luke Kornet are questionable.

Figuring out this game and how each of the coaches approaches it might be the key to slate. The Bucks are pretty healthy all around and have a veteran core of players that they really don’t need to see much from in the preseason so I’m leery of playing too many Milwaukee starters. Giannis obviously could go crazy even in 15-18 minutes and I’m probably squeeze him into a cash-game lineup if you’re playing cash, but he also could go out and focus on getting other teammates the ball tonight and not look to score much on his own.

The Bulls were bad last season and newsflash, they are going to be bad again this season. The Bucks starters could easily go up big in this game and get pulled early. I’d rather target some Bucks bench players who could play big minutes in the second half.

For Chicago, Zach LaVine stands out as a great play as he was a massive usage hog last season and you know he’s going to get a bunch of shots up while he’s out there on the floor. Lauri Markannen is the other Bulls starter I’d consider as he is a stone-cold assassin from deep and a solid rebounder. If Wendell Carter Jr. plays he’s interesting, but if he misses then Daniel Gafford could pick up some extra run. Rookie Coby White is someone to keep an eye on, too, as he could play a bunch of minutes off the bench.

Elite Plays: Donte DiVincenzo, Sterling Brown, Thanasis Antetokuonmpo, Zach LaVine, Lauri Markannen

Also Consider Daniel Gafford, Coby White, Tomas Satoransky
