DraftKings PGA: 2019 Houston Open Values

$7,200 Doc Redman

Redman does not have any history at this course, and he does not have ties to Texas. However, his recent form speaks for itself. Redman ranks 3rd in SG APP, 10th in SG TTG, and 12th in BOB gained over his last month. He is a Clemson guy so he should be able to handle the Bermudagrass. He has made 3/4 cuts this swing season. I will be riding that ball-striking this week, heavily overweight on the youngster.

$7,000 Jason Dufner

Jason Dufner priced at 7K in this field is a travesty. No he is not the same golfer that he was when he hoisted the PGA Championship in 2013, but he is still a class golfer that can go low (2 top 10’s in the 2018-19 season). Dufner is one of the worst putters on the Tour, but strikes the ball better than most in this field. Dufner ranks 8th in SG TTG and 16th in SG APP in the field. He has played this event each of the past 2 years, finishing T64 and T12.

$6,900 Stewart Cink

I am typically not the type of DFSer who will roster Stewart Cink in GPP tournaments. However, with the cut moving to 65 golfers I will do whatever it takes to squeeze through some 6/6 lineups. Over his past 4 starts at this course, Cink has a T58, T50, T33, and a T23. The  trend is there and I love some made cut equity at $6,900. If the course plays more difficult than it has in the past, I like Stu even more. He is 23rd in the field in SG APP and ranks 30th in DK scoring, so it is not like the guy doesn’t score. Fire him up to round out for 6/6’s.
