FanDuel NHL blue line power plays: Oct. 8 main slate

I’ve played Oscar Klefbom ($5,100) each time he’s been on the ice this season. But, I’m fading Klefy on Tuesday, as I already stated I hate that match-up. However, I might sneak him into some of my random GPP plays.
Instead, I’m more focused on the Predators defenders, who have piled up fantasy hockey points over the last year. Ryan Ellis ($5,000) already averages double-digits this season on the top line, but Mattias Ekholm ($4,400) should be a better value play.
Mark Giordano ($6,700) is a bit too pricey for me. In fact, I don’t like the Flames value for the potential points from that position. Instead, I’m focused on some of the Red Wings defenders, especially Danny DeKeyser ($4,500).
It could just be a flash-in-the-pan over the first two games, but Danny has an assist per game, three total shots on goal, and is averaging three blocked shots per game. For a value defensive play, that’s exactly the kind of point return I want. Filip Hronek ($4,100) is a lower ownership play from the same line.
