. Cornerback. Kansas City Chiefs. Bryce Hall. 29. player. 124

The Kansas City Chiefs were shockingly beat by the Indianapolis Colts at home on Sunday night, as cornerback Bashaud Breeland was picked on the entire game. It is clear that if the Chiefs are not elite on offense every week, they are going to struggle to win, which is something that is going to hurt them down the line in the playoffs.

Looking at the roster as a whole, the Chiefs need to do something to bolster the cornerback spot, and Bryce Hall from Virginia would be a nice grab here at No. 29 overall. Hall could come right in and start in this Chiefs secondary, which features some veteran talent like Tyrann Mathieu and Juan Thornhill, the team’s second round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Patrick Mahomes was banged up against the Colts on Sunday, playing with a hurt ankle throughout, but still managed to  throw for nearly 400 yards. The offense certainly is not the problem, and will get Tyreek Hill back soon, but this defense can be downright terrible at times, which is alarming after the team brought in new talent this offseason.

Green Bay Packers. Henry Ruggs III. 30. player. 49. . Wide Receiver

The Green Bay Packers continue to roll in 2019, and on Sunday, they went into Dallas and beat a Cowboys team that many liked to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl this season. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is taking more shots downfield, and is still proving to be one of the better signal-callers in all of football.

Incredibly, the Packers went into Dallas on Sunday and won without Rodgers’ top weapon in the passing game, Davante Adams. During the 2020 NFL Draft, the Packers have to go out and get Rodgers some more weapons on the outside, and Henry Ruggs III is widely considered to be one of the better wideouts in this draft class.

Ruggs is part of a stellar wideout group at Alabama that includes Jerry Jeudy, a guy who is expected to go in the top-10 next April. However, Ruggs is a star in his own right, and it would be a perfect fit for him in Green Bay, as he can stretch the field, and is not afraid to go over the middle and make big plays.
