NFL DFS: Sample Lineup and Overview

This is where I try to give you my roster construction strategy each week and I toss out a sample lineup. Please remember, the sample lineup is not intended to be a “plug and play” lineup. But rather it is used to illustrate the players, games, and types of correlation plays that I will be targeting this week.

More from DraftKings

This week feels a lot more wide open than usual, with less mega chalk than we saw in recent weeks. With how much the chalk has been hitting lately, you have to think that we are going to have a week soon where it busts, right? I’m asking you, not telling you because honestly at this point I just don’t know anymore.

I always want a correlation in my lineups. Every GPP lineup that I build is going to have 2-3 pieces of a game and most lineups are going to have several different correlations within them.

This particular lineup is a Minshew-Westbrook stack with Michael Thomas coming back the other way. I also have some correlation with Ingram and Boyd in the same game and LeVeon Bell with the Jets defense.

My top three games stacks this week will be Houston-Kansas City (chalk), New Orleans-Jacksonville, and Atlanta-Arizona.

QB: Gardner Minshew

RB: Mark Ingram

RB: Chris Carson

WR: Dede Westbrook

WR: Tyler Boyd

WR: Michael Thomas

TE: George Kittle

Flex: LeVeon Bell

D/ST: Jets D/ST
