4. Florida Panthers (1-2-0)

The Florida Panthers haven’t had a disastrous start to their 2019-20 NHL season, but the team likely would have wanted to kick off the Joel Quenneville era with a bit more to show. In their three games so far this season, the Panthers have done little to inspire any confidence that the team is ready to take a step forward like many believed they would.

Mike Hoffman has been a stand out offensively with six points (4 goals, 2 assists) in the opening three games, with three of those goals coming on a hat trick against Tampa Bay. Outside of the 30-year-old center, however, no one else on the team has more than one goal.

Starting goaltender and $70 million man Sergei Bobrovsky, however, would really like a mulligan on his first three games of the 2019-20 season. In net, Bobrovsky has a .859 save percentage and notably was pulled from the team’s 6-3 loss to the Hurricanes earlier in the week.

While not out right terrible, the Panthers no doubt wish they could re-do their opening week of the NHL season after putting forth a very so-so start.
