Fantasy football picks: Week 6 MNF Packers vs. Lions

Game theory is something that I have had to really work on going into this season, and it really takes your game to the next level once you start to get the hang of it. With single-game slates, game theory is a little bit different due to the 1.5x MVP point slot. Usually, this spot is used for the most popular play on the slate, which is normally a quarterback. However, I will tell you a little secret, very rarely do chalk MVP quarterbacks win you a single game tourney.

With that being said, in cash games you have to be a little more conservative, which I why I always recommend playing multiple GPP lineups instead of one cash lineup in these. That allows you to play much less conservative, take more chances, and have a better chance at hitting for the big one that we are all chasing.

I will say very openly that Kerryon Johnson is my favorite player for the MVP spot in this game. He is getting a massive workload finally, has the best individual match-up out of any other player on the slate, and is going to be low owned as the MVP. The upside is there, and people will overlook him, especially since the production hasn’t been great. The big game is coming, and you will want to be the one who is reaping the benefits, instead of looking on from the sidelines. Aaron Rodgers is going to be popular in the bonus, especially in cash games. Aaron Jones will probably be the second-highest owned as the MVP, followed by Stafford. Golladay is also a great GPP pivot for the bonus.
