NBA Preseason DFS: Core Plays

These are the players I will have the most exposure to across my lineups tonight. Note that several players are better values on one site than the other and always pay attention to pricing differences when building your rosters.

D’Angelo Russell

D-Russ is an elite play tonight and I think he is going to ball out against his old squad. He hadn’t gone off as a Warrior yet this preseason playing next to Steph Curry, but he should be a usage monster tonight with the ball in his hand on every possession. One thing Russell can do is score and I expect him to put up a bunch of points in this game tonight.

Marquese Chriss

Chriss is an auto-play, just play him! He is a stat-stuffer and an athletic freak on the court. He’s making the most of his chance at a roster spot and with Looney and Cauley-Stein out he’s going to get plenty of minutes again tonight. He should continue to be productive and crush value.

Terry Rozier

Scary Terry is an elite play in all formats with the minutes he’s getting and his role in this Charlotte offense. I really like him on FanDuel where you have to play two point guards. He will be in a lot of my lineups tonight.

Brandon Clarke (FanDuel)

This is a price play for me on FanDuel where he’s only 4300. He looked great on Monday and Memphis needs production from their young big men with Jonas Valanciunas out all preseason.

Russell Westbrook (Draftkings)

Westy is over 10k on FanDuel but is only 7800 on Draftkings which is just absurd. He posted 22 points in only 24 minutes in the Rockets last game and we all know he loves to pad his stats with boards and assists as often as possible. He’s an easy play for me on DK, where you can fit him, Harden, and D’Angelo fairly easily by using value plays.
