Friday Night SmackDown Women’s Power Rankings
No. 1: Bayley – The Friday Night SmackDown Women’s Champion completed her heel turn on Friday, cutting down the Bayley Buddies and losing the Hugger vibe. She earned her title back by defeating Charlotte Flair, and she has no intentions of giving it up. The bubbly, happy Bayley is gone, replaced by a darker version of herself. This version will do whatever it takes to keep that title in her hands.
No. 2: Sasha Banks – After a four month absence from WWE, Banks returned with a new look and a fresh, take-no-prisoners attitude. She’s now on SmackDown with her BFF, Bayley, and together they look to lead the division. Banks is always looking for a fight, and she does everything in her power to win. Her talent and toughness are unmatched on SmackDown, and it likely won’t be long before she holds the title herself.
No. 3: Alexa Bliss – Bliss was traded to SmackDown after being drafted to Raw, and she’s a welcome addition to a small division. Her competitive nature and mean streak in the ring put her a step above most of the division, and it definitely won’t be long before she challenges Bayley for her title. Her recent friendship with tag team partner Nikki Cross ensures she always has the upper hand.
No. 4: Nikki Cross – With Alexa Bliss at her side, Cross has risen up the WWE rankings quickly since moving to the main roster from NXT. Her wild side cannot be tamed. Her scrappy demeanor and toughness in the ring will help continue her rise. She quickly became popular among the WWE Universe with her antics. The former tag team champion will certainly make the rest of the SmackDown roster work for their checks.
No. 5: Sonya Deville – A former MMA fighter, Deville is still making a name for herself in WWE. She is one half of the Fire & Desire tag team, and with Mandy Rose at her side she is a formidable foe. She’s tough, she’s relentless and if given the opportunity, she will obtain victory.
No. 6: Lacey Evans – Another star who recently moved up from NXT, Evans is a sassy Southern belle who will knock you out with her Women’s Right. She’s quickly made a name for herself by picking a fight with Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and veteran Superstar Natalya, plus aligning herself with King Corbin for a mixed-tag match against Seth Rollins and Lynch. She’s proving she is tough and giving the women’s division pause when facing her in the ring.
No. 7: Mandy Rose – The other half of Fire & Desire places more emphasis on her looks than her abilities in the ring. Rose is a fierce competitor who is often overlooked due to her superficial nature, but that’s a mistake most women only make once. She occasionally gets help from her tag partner to obtain victories, although she is perfectly capable on her own. Don’t mistake her beauty for a lack of talent; she works hard and should never be underestimated.
No. 8: Carmella – ‘Mella is a former SmackDown Women’s Champion, a former 24/7 Champion and former Miss Money in the Bank. She’s had a lot of fun partnering with R-Truth during his constant 24/7 Champion title bouts, and she often makes a mockery of anything she can, but overlooking the moon-walking diva is a mistake, as many have already learned.
No. 9: Ember Moon – Moon mostly keeps to herself no matter which brand she represents. She’s a war goddess, a planner and she’s not afraid to take on the toughest opponents. She’s only had a couple of title opportunities since her rise from NXT, but she will get more. And it won’t be surprising when she eventually holds a belt.
No. 10: The IIconics – Technically a tag team, the IIconics are made of up Billie Kay and Peyton Royce. Former Women’s Tag Team Champions, Kay and Royce are inseparable. They always have each other’s backs and will interfere whenever they can to help the other gain victory. Entering the ring with one always means contending with both, and despite their seemingly flaky demeanor, they’ve worked hard to get where they are and have no intention of going anywhere anytime soon.
