WWE Monday Night Raw Power Rankings: Week of October 14, 2019
Top 10: Men
- Seth Rollins. Since his Hell in a Cell match with Bray Wyatt, Rollins has showed a side of himself that is much more intensive and aggressive than we’ve ever seen. And after torching the Firefly Fun House this past Monday night, has he finally put the terror and fear of The Fiend behind him?
- Andrade. Accompanied by Zelina Vega, Andrade had an impressive victory over Ali on Monday night. After a memorable set of matches against Rey Mysterio, Andrade brings a level of competition to Raw that will force the rest of the roster to step up their games.
- Ricochet. WWE’s resident superhero has set up shop on Monday nights and he picked up a victory over veteran Shelton Benjamin this week. Seeing him on the red brand will bring some excitement to Raw.
- Aleister Black. Aleister has been begging for people to pick a fight with him, which ended very badly for Eric Young this week. He debuted a new submission recently, and forced Young to tap out in a mostly one-sided match.
- Buddy Murphy. The man known as WWE’s “best kept secret” made a solid showing this week with a victory over Shelton Benjamin. Murphy could very well be the sleeper pick for Raw from the recent Draft.
- Ali. Despite a losing performance on Raw, Ali put up a tremendous effort and showed he is ready to bring his A-game to the red brand.
- Cedric Alexander. This guy has been known to make an impact everywhere, from NXT to recent matches over the summer with Daniel Bryan. While he may not be a main-event player just yet, matches with the likes of AJ Styles and Andrade could boost his value.
- Shelton Benjamin. Like Ali, Benjamin had a quality showing this week even though he didn’t pick up the win. If he gets serious, he could make life tough for a lot of guys on Monday nights.
- Randy Orton. Don’t get antsy with Orton debuting in the nine spot. We all know what Orton is capable of, and we all know he will be moving up these rankings sooner than later.
- Kevin Owens. After what seemed like a miserable lifetime of torture dealing with Shane McMahon, Owens has freed himself of that situation and is now ready to take on Raw‘s best. Like Orton, he’ll be on his way up soon as well.
Keep in mind, this is just the first set of rankings. Most of what is reflected here is based on a clean slate going into this past week’s Raw. Guys like Orton and Owens were lower just because they haven’t made their splashes yet in new storylines.
Everyone’s position will now be dependent on their weekly performance, so who knows what this list will like a week from now. Who do you see making the biggest impact coming off the draft?
