Elite Level Encounter

In one of three marquee matches for the night, The Elite team of Kenny Omega and Hangman Page took on their rivals, Jon Moxley and PAC.

PAC and Hangman brawled on the outside to start the contest as Omega and Moxley started off in the ring. Page slides in and saved Omega from a savage Moxley beatdown. PAC and Omega took the ring next as Omega hit an old classic, The Kotaro Crusher, on his All Out opponent. Moxley flew in and continued brawling with Omega. Hangman comes in and attempts to hit Deadeye on Mox but is denied.

Page looked to hit a massive move to the floor but Mox pushed him off the top rope. Moxley locked in a cloverleaf on the down Hangman. All the competitors start to brawl again and go out to the floor. Omega then ends up running wild and hits Dragon Suplexes on both his rivals.

Omega hits a dive over the top rope, after his classic Terminator moment, and Mox and Hangman follow him out with dives and moonsaults of their own. Omega ended up face to face with Moxley once again and he hit a nice V-Trigger on the former “Lunatic Fringe.”

Mox and Omega both slid outside and grabbed their barbed wire weapons from last week that were under the ring. Moxley hits Omega with the bat as he and PAC beatdown on Omega but then PAC grabs the weapons and throws them out, due to him not wanting to be disqualified and suffer his first loss in AEW. Moxley takes offense to PAC telling him what to do and he flips him off and nails his partner with Dirty Deeds.

Moxley walks to the back as The Elite team hit the Buckshot, V-Trigger and then a Deadeye to secure the win and award PAC his first loss in AEW.

A dynamic match that most likely now holds the title as the best match in Dynamite‘s short history. Everyone looked incredible and the ending, in which PAC’s obsession with his winning record cost him the match, was so well written.
