College football betting results against the spread week 7 2019

College football betting results evening October 12:
Army(-4.5) at Western Kentucky: MISS! The Hilltoppers have made a living uglying up games. That says something when it even works against Army, one of the most physical teams in the country.
Massachusetts at Louisiana Tech(-31.5): HIT! Tech scored 69 and let off the gas big time. The Bulldogs had 52 points at halftime!
North Texas at Southern Mississippi(-3.5): MISS! jack Abraham is not only coached by Brett Favre, but he looked like him in this one, going 29-36 with 421 yards and three touchdowns.
Fresno State at Air Force(-3.5): MISS! Fresno was blanked in the second half as the Falcons defense locked down and the Fresno defense got tired.
Mississippi at Missouri(-12.5): HIT! This Missouri offense is pretty good, but this defense is what’s going to keep them from being a big contender in the SEC East, aka sacrificial lamb for LSU or Alabama in Atlanta in six weeks.
Charlotte at Florida International(-5.5): HIT! My mistake was only betting three points on a freebie…..
USC at Notre Dame(-10.5): MISS! I knew better. USC always plays the Irish tough and vice versa.
Penn State(-3.5) at Iowa: HIT! KJ Hamler broke a long one. Check. Penn State covered. Everyone’s happy. Except Iowa fans, but we don’t really care about that. Iowa may have lost, but Brandon Smith gifted us with one of the finer catches you’ll ever see.
Louisville at Wake Forest(-6.5): MISS! 1,121 days. That’s how long it had been since Louisville beat a ranked team. 121 points. Who do these guys think they are, the Big 12(10)? This was one of the wilder games of the season, but it shouldn’t have been. Louisville had Wake buried twice and let them back in both times.
Nebraska at Minnesota(-7.5): HIT! If you are wondering just how far away Nebraska is, watch the replay of this game. Sure, missing Adrian Martinez and losing WanDale Robinson on the first drive really hurt. However, they don’t play defense. You can’t blame this loss on them. The offense didn’t even turn the ball over.
Minnesota pulled a Nebraska on Nebraska. Nebraska’s game plan used to be run until they stop you. That has changed over the years. Minnesota smacked Nebraska over the head with an early October snowstorm and a hard blast of nostalgia.
Arkansas at Kentucky(-6.5): MISS! Kentucky was damn lucky to win this game at all. Lynn Bowden put on a show in his first career start, but this defense wasn’t as solid as usual.
Navy at Tulsa(EVEN): HIT! Winning an even line by 28 points. That’s making a statement, especially when you do it running an option attack.
Florida at LSU(-13.5): MISS! Most expected this Florida defense to hold down the LSU offense. 42 points isn’t holding them down. I don’t know that there’s a more complete team out there. Maybe Alabama. Maybe.
Utah(-14.5) at Oregon State: HIT! Well, the Utes only made me sweat this for about ten minutes. This Oregon State defense is really bad.
Hawaii at Boise State(-13.5): MISS! Boise covered this with a backup quarterback. This defense is legit. The Broncos held this offense to just 251 passing yards.
Wyoming at San Diego State(-3.5): HIT! Wow, I’m glad this line dropped. The San Diego State balanced attack looks good on them. Allowing 22 points to Wyoming does not.
Washington(-6.5) at Arizona: MISS! It’s games like this, particularly in the second half, that really make you question whether Khalil Tate should be a quarterback. Poor decisions put this game way out of reach when Arizona did a good job of keeping it close for a while.
