NBA Preseason DFS: Minnesota @ Milwaukee

Minnesota Timberwolves

The T-Wolves are certainly interesting tonight based on their rotations last game. They gave their starters 24-27 minutes each and played well in a win over the Pacers on Tuesday. KAT was dominant, scoring 33 points with 10 boards and Robert Covington came out of nowhere for 19 rebounds and was a slate-winning GPP play that I overlooked.

FanDuel has made things really tough here because Jeff Teague and Covington are both min-priced, so if we get any indication they will get 20+ minutes again they are really appealing plays. Covington is a decent value on Draftkings, too, and despite his rebounding total which was an outlier, he is still a solid fantasy player who can rack up defensive stats in bunches.

Jarrett Culver is still my target off the bench for Minnesota with Shabazz Napier being another solid option, too.

Top Plays: Karl-Anthony Towns, Jarrett Culver, Robert Covington

Secondary Plays: Shabazz Napier

Milwaukee Bucks

The Bucks last played on Sunday, and rested Giannis in that game against the Wizards. I wouldn’t be surprised if they rested him again tonight, but if he plays he immediately becomes a near must-play based on his per-minute upside. He’s a guy who can score 40 fantasy points in 24 minutes with ease.

It’s really hard to project the rest of the Bucks players and minutes without knowing how they will approach this game. Donte DiVincenzo, Sterling Brown, and Dragan Bender are all cheap GPP plays that you could look to tonight if we get word that any Bucks starters will rest or that the starters will be limited to only a half.

Top Plays: Giannis (if he plays), Khris Middleton (if Giannis sits)

Secondary Plays: Donte DiVincenzo, Sterling Brown, Dragan Bender
