Los Angeles Chargers at Tennessee Titans (-2)

As Bill Simmons is fond of saying, this is the Loser Leaves Town match. Tennessee (2-4) and Los Angeles (2-4) are both on the edge of falling out of playoff contention. The Titans get the slight edge because they finally benched Marcus Mariota, they’re at home and the Chargers have a crush of injuries.

Pick: Tennessee 20, Los Angeles 17

Baltimore Ravens at Seattle Seahawks (-3.5)

Why bet on the Ravens (4-2) here? Baltimore has beaten nobody, and the Seahawks (5-1) are both damn good and a great home team. They also have the MVP through six weeks in Russell Wilson. This is a hammer lock.

Pick: Seattle 30, Baltimore 19

New Orleans Saints at Chicago Bears (-3)

The Bears (3-2) have to win this game. They are also coming off a bye, and while Teddy Bridgewater has been solid for the Saints (5-1), this defense is another animal. The only question is how much does the Akiem Hicks loss hurt this unit?

Pick: Chicago 16, New Orleans 14

Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys (-3)

Whoever loses this game will be at a DEFCON-1 panic level. The Cowboys (3-3) have lost three straight while the Eagles (3-3) simply can’t get going. The winner feels good moving forward. The loser is searching deep for answers.

Pick: Dallas 23, Philadelphia 20

New England Patriots (-9.5) at New York Jets

This might be the toughest game the Patriots (6-0) have played all year along with a road game against the Bills. Seriously. Let us know when New England plays anybody who can score. Also, the Jets (1-4) play tough and cover, but c’mon.

Pick: New England 24, New York 17
