NFL DFS Week 7: Fantasy football cash game breakdown
NFL DFS Week 7: Fantasy football cash game breakdown
Saquon Barkley – FanDuel $8600 DraftKings $8900
SAQUONDA FOREVER! Feels like it’s been ages since writing up Saquon for a main slate. I think we can all say we’ve missed him in our DFS lives. Yes McCaffrey is unbelievable but Saquon is right there and possibly a step ahead – it’s debatable. We all know he can break it at any point and now he gets the Cardinals! This entire game is really enticing and I think both running backs are great plays honestly. Saquon is a monster in the passing game and we know he can take any touch to the house. I’m trying to just jam him into my lineups anyway possible because McCaffrey isn’t available, Cook doesn’t have a great matchup, and Zeke has been really disappointing (and isn’t on the main slate and has a tough matchup). Just pay up here.
Leonard Fournette – FanDuel $7900 DraftKings $7000
I feel like I’m saying this every week because I keep writing up guys like Fournette – we have learned that opportunity and volume are (arguably) more important than talent. That’s not to say Fournette isn’t a talented guy because obviously he is. Instead, it’s more to emphasize the fact he is on the field ALL THE TIME. They love to just smash him and Minshew looks his way on short routes too. Even when they don’t do well and don’t score and he doesn’t catch many balls like last week against the Saints, he still has a serviceable game. Take all of that and add the fact he gets the Bengals this week and it seems like a no brainer to me. The Bengals have been torn apart on the ground, so much so that my Steelers went full-on wildcat almost the entire game against them.
David Johnson – FanDuel $7400 DraftKings $7800
David Johnson is always a few hundred more on DraftKings because of his pass-catching abilities but don’t be discouraged – he’s a great play on both sites (assuming he’s healthy). He has the questionable tag much like he did last week and I’m mad at myself for falling for it. Atlanta is so bad against pass-catching backs and sure enough, DJ tore them up even without a full workload. The Giants aren’t great against the likes of David Johnson either and I’m anticipating him having a nice game here. It’s weird to have a game stack with running backs on both sides but these guys aren’t playing slow and eating up the clock. Saquon and DJ are catching passes and taking touches deep (and fast). If he happens to be hurt, just plug in his backup because Chase is super talented as well.
