Tag Team Division

No. 1: Private Party

Private Party have been making a lot of noise since they were signed. In a pretty surprising move, they knocked the Young Bucks out of the tag team tournament in the first round and take on the Lucha Bros for a chance at the AEW tag titles.

No. 2: Dark Order

These spooky perverts won their match at All Out to earn a first-round bye in the tag team tournament. They’re also 3-0. SCU are their next test in the tournament.

No. 3: Lucha Brothers

Arguably the best tag team in all of pro wrestling, they have faced the Young Bucks a few times in AEW, most recently defeating them in an Escalera de la Muerte match at All Out in which they retained the AAA World Tag Team Championship.

No. 4: SCU

SCU is also a trio, but veteran tag team partners Christopher Daniels and Frank Kazarian were the two to take part in the tag team tournament. Daniels was attacked by the Lucha Bros. on Wednesday, which forced Scorpio Sky to take his place. We’ll see on Wednesday which duo faces The Dark Order.

No. 5: Young Bucks

The brothers Jackson were the favorites to be AEW’s first Tag Team Champions. Shockingly, they lost in the first round of the tournament. They also teamed up with their former Elite partner, Kenny Omega, in the first episode of Dynamite.

No. 6: Jurassic Express

Technically a trio, Jurassic Express has been one of the most popular groups in AEW. Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy were a fan-favorite pairing before adding Marko Stunt. They were voted into the tag team tournament by fans in a Twitter poll. They lost on Wednesday to the Lucha Bros., with Stunt replacing an injured Luchasaurus.

No. 7: Best Friends

Chuckie T and Trent? have recently aligned with Orange Cassidy. The trio competed on AEW Dark. They also had a spot in the tag team tournament and lost on Wednesday to SCU.

No. 8: Santana & Ortiz

The duo made their debut at All Out and teamed up with Chris Jericho against The Elite in the first Dynamite episode. They have also joined Jericho’s Inner Circle. What kind of devastation will they bring to AEW? Their next big test will be The Young Bucks at Full Gear in November.

No. 9: Hybrid2

Jack Evans and Angelico missed out on being in the tag team tournament because they lost a Twitter poll. Even at 0-3 in tag matches, they look to disrupt the division.
