Fantasy football rankings – Defense / Special Teams

The Patriots were the best fantasy defense of week six against the Giants. Shocker, right? Like I said in last week’s article, that one was a no-brainer. I correctly predicted seven of the top 11 defenses from a week ago, including the 49ers who many may have shied away from due to their match up. They were my favorite DFS play and ended up DST5 for week six.

The Steelers defense was impressive once again against the Chargers, and the Giants defense held their own against Tom Brady and the Patriots. Although the Seahawks did force four turnovers, they were middle of the road in fantasy. The Cowboys had a disappointing showing against the Jets, and the Eagles got obliterated by Kirk Cousins and the Vikings.

  1. Bills vs MIA
  2. 49ers vs WAS
  3. Patriots vs NYJ
  4. Chargers vs TEN
  5. Jaguars vs CIN
  6. Saints vs CHI
  7. Bears vs NO
  8. Packers vs OAK
  9. Titans vs LAC
  10. Vikings vs DET
  11. Cardinals vs NYG
  12. Seahawks vs BAL
  13. Cowboys vs PHI
  14. Lions vs MIN
  15. Texans vs IND
  16. Rams vs ATL
  17. Giants vs AZ
  18. Colts vs HOU
  19. Bengals vs JAC
  20. Ravens vs SEA
  21. Dolphins vs BUF
  22. Redskins vs 49ers
  23. Jets vs NE
  24. Eagles vs DAL
  25. Raiders vs GB
  26. Falcons vs LAR

The Bills should have no problem handling the Dolphins offense. The Niners should continue their tear against the Redskins, and the Patriots should be a solid play against the Jets, but not the best option this week.

I also like the Chargers, Jaguars, Saints, Packers, Titans, and Cardinals D/STs this week. I would try to avoid the Seahawks, Ravens, Rams, and Eagles this week.
