Fantasy football rankings: Week seven position by position rankings
Fantasy football rankings – Kickers
Last week I correctly predicted two of the top four kickers in Justin Tucker and Joey Slye. I was just two spots off on Zane Gonzalez and nailed Matt Bryant at eight and Wil Lutz at 10.

Matt Prater had a great week, finishing as K1 with 21 fantasy points making five of five field-goal attempts. Brett Maher and Brandon McManus both turned in top-five performances as well.
Jason Sanders, Aldrick Rosas, and Austin Seibert all struggled, as I predicted. Greg Zuerlein and Ka’imi Fairbairn were unexpected, as they were both top six kickers in my rankings.
- Greg Zuerlein LAR vs ATL
- Josh Lambo JAC vs CIN
- Justin Tucker BAL vs SEA
- Matt Prater DET vs MIN
- Jason Myers SEA vs BAL
- Mike Nugent NE vs NYJ

- Robbie Gould SF vs WAS
- Matt Bryant ATL vs LAR
- Brett Maher DAL vs PHI
- Aldrick Rosas NYG vs AZ
- Zane Gonzalez AZ vs NYG

I think a high-scoring affair helps Legatron get back on track here. The Rams should be able to move the ball easily against the Falcons, he should get more than his fair share of extra points, and maybe they will hold them to a field goal a few times.
Higher scoring games usually provide more scoring opportunities for fantasy kickers as well as the offensive players. BAL vs SEA, HOU vs IND, NYG vs AZ, DAL vs PHI, and LAR vs ATL are all great games to have a part of, including kickers. Also, all of these games should be pretty close, meaning that a field goal could be the difference in the game.
Kickers who I would avoid because of the chance their team goes down big early include Sanders vs BUF, Carlson vs GB, Hopkins vs SF, Ficken vs NE, and Bullock vs JAC. If their team gets down big, they may decide against a field goal attempt, instead of going for it on fourth down to try to score a much-needed touchdown. Also, their teams will generally struggle to move the ball at all and will lack scoring opportunities of any kind.
