NFL DFS bargain bin: Week 7 Tight Ends
Mark Andrews, BAL at SEA:
(DraftKings-$4,900/FanDuel-$6,700/FantasyDraft-$9,300/Yahoo-$22)
Andrews’ price always seems to hover at around its current levels, regardless of what kind of numbers he’s able to churn out. The second-year tight end’s latest impressive effort came at the expense of the Bengals in Week 6, against which he posted a 6-99 line. It was Andrews’ fourth game with at least five receptions and also marked his third game with over 90 receiving yards. Andrews’ involvement has been about as consistent as it comes for tight ends, as he’s logged at least seven targets in all six contests.
What’s more, many of those looks are coming downfield, as Andrews is averaging 71.2 air yards per game and owns 24.6 percent of the Ravens’ air yards overall thus far. He’ll face a Seahawks squad that’s surrendered the sixth-most receptions (34), fourth-most receiving yards (405) and third-most receiving touchdowns (three) to tight ends. Seattle has also allowed 1,667 receiving yards on 1,669 air yards overall, and the 11.9 yards per grab they’ve yielded to tight ends specifically dovetails almost perfectly with Andrews’ 12.1 YPC.
Hunter Henry, LAC at TEN:
(DraftKings-$4,000/FanDuel-$5,700/FantasyDraft-$9,100/Yahoo-$21)
Henry made a triumphant return from injury last Sunday night against the Steelers, racking up eight catches for 100 yards and two touchdowns as one of the few bright spots in another disappointing loss for Los Angeles. The athletic tight end gives the Chargers’ passing game a dimension it certainly needs to spark its moribund offense, and Henry could, therefore, play a major role once again in Week 7 against a Titans squad that’s tied with several teams with the second-most receiving touchdowns allowed to tight ends (four).
Henry has a total of 14 targets in the two games he’s played this season and could be in line for another 7-to-8 look against a Tennessee squad that’s been largely effective against wide receivers and therefore could force more attention his way. Henry’s price on DK and FanDuel is especially enticing when considering his production last week and overall upside, making this an opportune time to jump, especially considering the dearth of quality tight ends on the slate.
