Fantasy Football picks: Week 7 SNF Cowboys vs. Eagles

Game theory is something that I have had to really work on going into this season, and it really takes your game to the next level once you start to get the hang of it. With single-game slates, game theory is a little bit different due to the 1.5x MVP point slot.

Usually, this spot is used for the most popular play on the slate, which is normally a quarterback. However, I will tell you a little secret, very rarely do chalk MVP quarterbacks win you a single game tourney.

I am going to be a little more reserved for the game theory in this game, and say play more heavily in cash games. In that case, I like Prescott quite a bit as the MVP, and he will be pretty high owned in that spot. Amari Cooper is also a great option for the point bonus. He could end up being the highest point per dollar play on the slate, but it depends on his overall health. He is supposed to be mostly recovered from the quad bruise, but sometimes those injuries can linger for a few weeks. This is the only reason I am slightly hesitant about playing him. Michael Gallup is my preferred GPP MVP option. All it takes is one deep catch for a touchdown and he breaks the slate, hopefully winning you a lot of money along the way. Anyone with this type of explosiveness is a great play in the bonus spot.
