1. Brock Lesnar

Until Brock puts his belt on the line or at least has a match, there’s no reason to move him down this list. He’s the current WWE Heavyweight Champion and shows no signs of giving that up anytime soon.

2. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt

Wyatt will challenge Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel in a cross-brand match. He hasn’t had a match on SmackDown yet, but he will. His fearsome persona and ability to destroy Superstars in the ring, whether psychologically or physically, is why he will remain in this spot until someone defeats him.

3. Shinsuke Nakamura

Nakamura only retained his title on Friday due to an interruption of his match with Roman Reigns by “King” Baron Corbin. Nakamura has enough talent that he doesn’t need a crony to help him win, although Sami Zayn has certainly paid dividends for him. While he holds the Intercontinental Championship belt, he keeps a high spot in the rankings.

4. Roman Reigns

The Big Dog went after the Intercontinental Championship on Friday, but failed to get the title when the match ended in a disqualification thanks to Baron Corbin. Daniel Bryan came to his aid and the two later won a tag team match against Nakamura and Corbin.

5. Daniel Bryan

Aligning himself with Roman Reigns seems to be an ongoing theme, and one that benefits them both as they continue to win matches when they tag together. Bryan’s speed and toughness compliment Reigns’ size and strength, and Bryan’s lack of fear for any man makes him formidable in the ring.

6. Braun Strowman

The Monster Among Men had a very quick bout with former Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak on Friday. Gulak is the size of Strowman’s leg, so it’s no surprise that Braun manhandled the smaller man and walked away victorious. It will take more than that to bring down this giant.

7. Shorty Gable

Gable took on Curtis Axel in a singles match on Friday and tapped him out with an ankle-lock while Axel’s tag team partner, Bo Dallas, circled the ring. Gable is tough, and while his reach isn’t far, if he gets hold of you, you’re likely to tap out to this submission master.

8. King Corbin

“King” Baron Corbin earned his title by winning the King of the Ring tournament earlier this year. A former acting general manager of Monday Night Raw and a former Mr. Money in the Bank, Corbin is one who will shirk the rules to gain victory. Whether it’s his scepter, a chair, a ladder or a kendo stick, Corbin will use every avenue he has to win a match. Or just beat the crap out of his opponent if he gets frustrated.

9. Luke Harper

Harper hasn’t fought on SmackDown yet, but he will, and he has proven in the past that he’s a force to be reckoned with. His size alone is intimidating, and he will surprise with his agility and speed.

10. The Miz

The Miz has recently spent more time on dad duty than Superstar duty, although he did host MizTV with special guest Bayley on Friday. Miz has been absent from the ring before, and he’s always returned with the same skill set and toughness he’s always had. He belongs in the top 10 until someone else can prove they deserve the spot more than him.
