DFS Fantasy Hockey Advice: Goalies to Start

Marc-Andre Fleury (VGK) @ CHI

Fleury is doing it again as he is currently leading the league in wins (6), while also owning a 2.18 GAA and a 0.934 SV%. The Vegas Golden Knights will be traveling to the Windy City to take on Jonathan Toews and the Chicago Blackhawks this Tuesday night.

Chicago may have a lot of star-power when it comes to offense, but they have failed to showcase that talent up to this point in the season as they are averaging three goals per game. Fleury looks to be in line for another sturdy performance in the crease.

Carter Hutton (BUF) vs. SJS

Hutton is one of the pleasant surprises of the 2019 season. The Buffalo starting netminder has maintained a perfect 5-0-0 record, while also possessing a thin 1.39 GAA and an incredible 0.953 SV%.

The Sabres will now welcome to town the San Jose Sharks who have had a tough time finding any sort of scoring rhythm this year. If Hutton is announced as the team’s starting goalie for Tuesday night, then start him without hesitation for Tuesday night’s action if you have him on your rosters. If he sits, the Linus Ullmark is not a bad option to turn to either.

John Gibson (ANA) vs. NSH

Gibson continues to look very sharp as he has an incredible 1.88 GAA through seven starts this season. He has been one of the main reasons for Anaheim’s early-season success up to this point.

Now he will take on the Nashville Predators and while this may seem like a bit of a daunting task, Gibson has not shown us any signs he can’t compete with even the best offenses in the league. Gibson should be an immediate start in all formats on Tuesday night.
