Joe Montana Division

4. Deshaun Watson (LW: 3)

Watson falls one spot but remains in the same division. The Texans were victimized by a great defensive gameplan, the early exit of Will Fuller and a fluky interception to seal the game. Watson was solid for the most part, but couldn’t make magic in the end.

3. Tom Brady (LW: 4)

Brady didn’t have to do much on Monday night what with the defense forcing 27 turnovers against the Jets. Still, he executed just fine and kept the Patriots undefeated as Brady looks for his 10th Super Bowl appearance. Just an unreal career.

2. Aaron Rodgers (LW: 6)

Rodgers authored the first perfect passer rating of his career on Sunday. The future first-ballot Hall of Famer threw for five touchdown and scampered for another in a 42-24 hammering of the Raiders. Averaging 8.1 yards per attempt with 13 touchdowns and two interceptions. Rodgers is in the race for his third MVP award.

1. Russell Wilson (LW: 2)

One game does not a season make. If the MVP voting was today, Wilson still earns the vote in this space. If there is a single throw this offseason Wilson wants back, it was certainly the pick-six to Marcus Peters, who baited the veteran before jumping the out-breaking route and going the sitance.
