Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jacob Eason. 11. player. 48. . Quarterback

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers once made Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston the No. 1 overall selection in the 2015 NFL Draft. However, since then, he has not developed into the long-term franchise quarterback this organization was hoping for, and it may  be time to turn the page in terms of the position moving forward.

If the Bucs do decide to roll the dice on one of the top quarterbacks in this draft class, they may have to move up into the top-10, which they will if they continue to lose. However, even sitting at No. 11 overall, they could get the successor to Winston in Tampa Bay, as Jacob Eason from Washington looks slated for the first round as well.

Eason was done a nice job in his first season with the Huskies, and has the kind of arm, and football IQ that could make him a successful quarterback at the NFL level. Winston has had his ups and downs, and with a new head coach in Bruce Arians, do not be surprised if this is his final season as the starter in Tampa Bay.

12. player. 50. . LB/Safety. Detroit Lions. Isaiah Simmons

The Detroit Lions have played some solid football  this season, and you can see that the organization is starting to trend in the right direction. Head coach Matt Patricia has done a much better job in Year No. 2, and had it not been for some close losses, the Lions would certainly be in the playoff discussion in the NFC this season.

Looking at this team, they have some dynamic players on both sides of the ball, and their defense is improving under the defensive genius they have at head coach. With their first round pick in 2020, Patricia may want to roll the dice on the best hybrid defensive player in the draft class, bringing in Isaiah Simmons from Clemson.

Simmons can not only play outside linebacker at the next level, but also safety, two areas of need for this Lions team moving forward. Patricia is starting to build this team the right way, and with the franchise quarterback in Matthew Stafford in place, they can focus their first rounder on the defense next April.
