Ajax face Chelsea at Johan Cruyff Arena on Wednesday, Oct. 23. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

In the third game of the Champions League group stage, Ajax host Chelsea in Amsterdam. The two clubs will play back to back games in the Champions League, with the return fixture taking place on Nov. 5 at Stamford Bridge. Ajax are in first place in Group G, winning the first two games of the tournament. Chelsea are tied with Valencia with three points apiece.

Ajax are first in the Eredivisie, picking up 26 points in their first 10 games of the season. Erik ten Hag’s team are averaging 3.1 goals per game in their Eredivisie games. In their first two Champions League games, Ajax defeated Lille and Valencia by identical 3-0 scores. Ajax’s total football attack is led by Dusan Tadic, Quincy Promes, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Hakim Ziyech. The four players have combined for 28 goals in all competitions this season and will be key against Chelsea.

After a slow start to the Premier League season, Chelsea have rebounded, winning four of their last five games to move into fifth place. The Blues lost their first Champions League game under manager Frank Lampard, losing 1-0 against Valencia. Chelsea bounced back against Lille winning 2-1 in France.

The Blues have struggled with Antonio Rudiger out most of this season with injuries. The loss of the German center-back has created a hole in Chelsea’s back four. Kurt Zouma has struggled this season and could have a tough time against Ajax’s pace. Upfront, Tammy Abraham is having a breakout season for the Blues. The English striker leads the club with nine goals in all competitions this season.
