DraftKings Showdown: Cheap Options

Trey Quinn – $3,600

There are a lack of cheap options on this weeks slate, which is troubling when you have so many high-priced Vikings that you want to play. Trey Quinn has seen the best volume for any Redskins player in this price range with 11 targets over the last three weeks. He is only a sprinkle for me, as I will be looking to attack this slate with a minimum of four Vikings on most builds.

Jeremy Sprinkle – $3,400

With Vernon Davis out again, Sprinkle becomes a Redskin that you can Sprinkle in your lineups. Like Quinn he is very cheap and has seen consistency in his target share of about two per game. With the low volume, he will need to score a touchdown in order for him to be on your winning lineup.

Wendall Smallwood – $1,800

One of my favorite Redskins on the slate is Wendall Smallwood at $1800. With Chris Thompson out and the Redskins likely trailing by double-digits Smallwood is likely to see the most snaps at running back while Peterson stands on the sideline.

DraftKings Showdown: Special Teams / Defensive Flex Options

Vikings – $6,800

This Vikings defense is elite at home in the dome. They are currently +54 in point differential at home and are looking to feast on an archaic offensive approach lead by the unimaginative Bill Callahan. This defense is good enough to play not only in your core lineups but also in at Captain.

Dan Bailey $4,000

The Vikings currently lead the league in touchdown scoring in the red-zone at 70.83%. While I would typically shy away from kickers that play on efficient offenses, Bailey and the Vikings should see plenty of opportunity in this game.

Dustin Hopkins – $3,000

While the Vikings are excellent in the red-zone, the Redskins are not. With a touchdown percentage at 46% which is 27th in the league, Hopkins is in play for this Redskins offense.

DraftKings Showdown: Game Script Thoughts

The Vikings opened as a 14 point favorite with a total of 40. The bets have been rolling in on the Vikings as the line is now 16.5 in some locations while the total has risen to 42. This is going to be an ugly showdown slate where you will want as few Redskins as possible. Get creative with your builds as the majority will be on the Vikings onslaught, take the Vikings and enjoy the carnage.
