Fantasy football picks: Week 8 TNF Vikings vs. Redskins

Terry McLaurin – Coming off his first really bad game of the year, Terry gets a very tough match-up with Minnesota. This is not at all a good individual match-up for him against stud corner Xavier Rhodes, but Terry has had good games against tough defenses. He has some great chemistry with Case Keenum, and is basically the only person Case appears to feel comfortable throwing to. McLaurin is playing virtually every snap, has at least seven targets in each game except for the last one, had at least 50 yards in every game except for the last one, and five total touchdowns. Minnesota is giving up the seventh most points against receivers, and we did see Marvin Jones put up a career game here last week. If Terry can break free from Xavier on occasion, he should be able to pay off at lower ownership.

Stefon Diggs – The Josh Norman effect is a thing of the past, as we can safely target him and not be overly concerned. Adam Thielen is already ruled out for this game, which mean Diggs is going to see all the targets he can handle, and then some. In the past two weeks, he has 19 targets, three scores, and 300 yards. I would expect those targets to creep into the 12-14 range for this game. Washington gives up the tenth most points against receivers, and with Adam out, I expect a really big game from the red hot Diggs.
