DFS NBA Love Like Leave – October 25

Point Guard

Love

Coby White (4,700): It isn’t very often that a player priced at less than half the top option at the position is my favorite play. Regardless, this price on White seems far too low. White is going to be given every chance to lead the second unit, and his fast-paced, quick-hitting style results in him picking up points quickly. Rozier is one of the worst defenders in the league, and Graham isn’t much better. White is a sleeper ROTY candidate (not unlike Tyler Herro), and will continue the strong start tonight.

Like

Jamal Murray (7,100): If the first game of the season made anything clear in Denver, it’s that outside of Jokic, there isn’t much in the way of scoring if Murray is off. Phoenix is once again going to be the league’s whipping boy, regardless of how well they shut down Fox on Wednesday. I love the pace increase Murray gets against Phoenix, and with all the options above him, I think he gets lost in the shuffle.

Leave

Kyrie Irving (9,700): He’s home. The boy from New Jersey certainly looks at home in Brooklyn (strange, that), dropping an absurd 50 points opening night. Aided by a high scoring game that went into OT, Kyrie took an absurd 33 shots as well. That… isn’t going to happen again for at least a little while. Regression to the norm is too likely, and even a textbook 30,5,5 game may not hit value. Best to fade Kyrie as hopefully the masses flock due to recency bias.
