Los Angeles Chargers at Chicago Bears (-4.5)

This is a curiosity in the same way a car crash is. You don’t want to look, but then you do. The Bears (3-3) and Chargers (2-5) are football’s version of a pile up on I-90. If Mitch Trubisky stinks again, Chicagoans will be screaming for his benching (which isn’t coming).

Pick: Chicago 19, Los Angeles 16

New York Giants at Detroit Lions (-7)

The Lions (2-3-1) have to win this week. Good news! The Giants (2-5) are in town. New York got a jolt from Daniel Jones, but he’s been terrible much of the last month. Hard to see Detroit losing this one with the season on the line.

Pick: Detroit 31, New York 20

New York Jets at Jacksonville Jaguars (-4.5)

The Jaguars (3-4) can climb right into the AFC playoff picture with a win at home. The Jets (1-5) appeared to have hope after beating Dallas before having bladder issues against the Patriots. Non reason to believe in Adam Gase right now.

Pick: Jacksonville 24, New York 21

Philadelphia Eagles at Buffalo Bills (-1.5)

Interesting game in western New York. The Bills (5-1) are looking for respect despite the second-best record in the AFC. The Eagles (3-4) are simply trying to win a game and get rolling after an ugly performance in Dallas. It’s time for Philadelphia to put up or shutup.

Pick: Philadelphia 20, Buffalo 16

Seattle Seahawks (-3.5) at Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons (1-6) quit a few weeks ago. Russell Wilson and the Seahawks (5-2) are about to get well in a big way.

Pick: Seattle 30, Atlanta 23
