Fantasy football picks: Week 8 FanDuel GPP breakdown
Kenny Golladay – As a member of this weeks “bounce back” article, Kenny is now making an appearance in our GPP piece as well. He is averaging nine targets per game, with four scores, and over 300 yards. He gets a juicy individual match-up with Janoris Jenkins who is possibly the worst number one corner for any team in the league. We already mentioned earlier how bad the Giants are against the pass, and I will have no problem pairing Kenny with Stafford in tournaments.
Julio Jones – The common trend for receivers this season is to pay down at the position, which leaves these higher priced studs at lower ownership than normal. Julio has not had any sort of an amazing season, but he has been steady. Averaging nine targets per game, four touchdowns on the year, and over 500 yards. This game could end up being high scoring, and most people are just targeting the Seahawks from it. In order for a game to indeed be high scoring, both teams are required to participate. Atlanta scores the third most points at the receiver position, but Matt Ryan is currently questionable, which could make things tricky. If he does play I like Jones a lot, if he does not than I will probably fade him.
Courtland Sutton – With Sanders shipped out, there is a new sheriff in town. Sutton will be taking over the top receiver duties going forward, and he makes for an amazing play against the Colts. Sutton has had no less than seven targets in any game this year, less than 50 yards just one time, and three total scores. The amount of yards per game he is getting is what makes him a great play. Even if he does not score, he should still be able to hit value.
