Duds

Bradley Beal (at SA – $9,000 on DK; $9,500 on FD): Beal didn’t shoot well against the Thunder, which makes me believe he’ll have a bounce back game. But the Wizards are on a back-to-back, on the road, against a San Antonio team that will have many mistakes fixed after opening night. He has the 5th highest salary on DK and is ranked above Young, Holliday, and Siakam in FD. There are better options out there.

Devin Booker (vs. LAC – $8,700 on DK; $9,100 on FD): Much like stacking members of the Clippers is a good idea, stay away from anyone playing the Clippers and that defense. The Suns look better than expected, but they are on a back-to-back and the duo of Booker and Rubio will find it tough to score against the Clippers.

Mitchell Robinson (vs. BOS – $5,200 on DK; $6,800 on FD): The price on DK isn’t but, but the price on FD is far too high. There’s once again value at center with Baynes and Williams. Or find a way to save $200 and take Harrell on FD. Both teams are on a back-to-back, but the Celtics are better, even if the Knicks have proven to be scrappy.

TJ Warren (at CLE – $5,500 on DK; $5,900 on FD): Warren didn’t make a good first impression and there’s reason to think he’ll get lost in the shuffle in Indiana. He’s a streaky player and there’s reason to think he could get hot, especially against a team like Cleveland, but there are better options at this price including Rose, Hachimura, and Brown.

Clint Capela (vs NO – $7,600 on DK; $8,600 on FD): Capela will put up decent numbers, but you need more for the price. Westbrook’s rebounding ability will continue to cut into his numbers, as will Westbrook looking for his own shot more than Paul did in past seasons. Price needs to drop just a bit more.
