NFL DFS Week 8: Fantasy football cash game breakdown

Leonard Fournette – FanDuel $7700 DraftKings $7800

Wow-what a rare discount on FanDuel for such a solid running back, especially if you compare it to the DraftKings price. I honestly do not understand Fournette’s price all year long because he’s just too cheap every single week. DraftKings finally got with the program and at least put him above $7k but still…I love this play on FanDuel and am debating between him and Carson really. It’s really hard to fade a workhorse running back who is producing in any situation and that’s exactly what Fournette has been. The Jets shouldn’t be too tough of a situation for him this week either plus he’s at home.

Chase Edmonds – FanDuel $6100 DraftKings $6200

This is sketchy as of Friday afternoon because once again we’re getting the run around on David Johnson’s status. He is officially listed as a “game-time decision” this week just like last week. If you can figure out whether Edmonds will get the bulk of the work, he’s playable. Even against the tough New Orleans defense. Chase Edmonds is really special and looks very talented out there every time he touches the ball.

Todd Gurley – FanDuel $7400 DraftKings $7400

Another sketchy play for cash…can you tell I’m pretty focused on the 4-5 guys I’ve written about above? They just seem to be head and shoulders in better spots and with higher ownership percentages which we have to take into account for cash. Gurley has the best matchup on the board technically but who knows if he’ll be needed or if he’ll be healthy enough to play the whole game. He could go nuts in this game making him a great tournament play, to be honest but if he is going to start, his floor at this price is relatively safe as well.
