NFL DFS Week 8: Fantasy football cash game breakdown

Kenny Stills – FanDuel $5700 DraftKings $4700

This is the cheap chalk pass catcher of the week. Stills is more than serviceable and has done decently in the Texans offense. Add in the fact Will Fuller is gone with a serious hamstring injury (RIP sweet prince) and Stills is going to be getting quite a few more targets. Hopefully, Keke Coutee doesn’t steal too many but I think Stills will step in and catch a good number of balls and at this price, if he gets a touchdown, you’re sitting pretty.

Calvin Ridley – FanDuel $5400 DraftKings $5600

I love this play this week, especially on FanDuel. I loved him last week as a pivot off of Boyd and I’m in basically the same position. However, this really depends on the health of Matt Ryan. I’m not sure where he stands (no pun intended given the ankle injury) but he’s obviously important to this. If Matt (pick 6) Schaub is going to be the starter, I’m definitely off of Ridley and all over the Seattle defense. However, if Ryan does end up starting and is seemingly healthy, Ridley is priced ridiculously low for what he’s capable of doing. Also, Sanu is now a New England Patriot which opens up just that much more for Ridley to get work done.

DeAndre Hopkins – FanDuel $8200 DraftKings $8100

Paying up at wide receiver has not been a great strategy so far this year (at least for me). Hopkins has not been himself and honestly looks like he may have lost a step after being clearly the best wide receiver outside of maybe Antonio Brown. Yes better than Julio Jones don’t @ me. I love a good stack of Houston in the air against the Raiders this week and it’s possibly cash viable and definitely tournament viable. Hopkins should do well against this terrible pass defense for the Raiders despite how poorly he’s done so far this season.
