10. Zack Moss, RB, Utah

It feels like the college football world at large continues to sleep on the Utah Utes and Zack Moss. However, all the running back has been doing is setting school records and running over the competition and the Utes have just been dominating since their upset loss against USC. And in their 35-0 victory over Cal in Week 9, it was Moss that once again led the way with a highly productive outing.

Moss finished the game with 115 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries while also accruing 89 yards on three receptions. The veteran running back, despite getting banged up and having some low-usage outings, has remained a force. He has 728 yards on only 110 carries this year to go with 10 rushing touchdowns. Add in his 174 yards and Moss clearly deserves to be in the top 10 of the Heisman rankings.

9. Sage Surratt, WR, Wake Forest

Sage Surratt and the Wake Forest Demon Deacons were not on the field in Week 9, meaning that the star wide receiver couldn’t add to his impressive totals for the 2019 season. However, a sthe Deacs enter the heart of their ACC schedule with just one loss on the ledger, it’s been the wideout that has been the consistently dominant force on the outside for their offense.

Throughout the season, Surratt has set the pace in regards to the Wake Forest passing game. In seven games, the pass-catcher leads the team with 53 catches for 881 yards and nine touchdowns. Just as impressively, Surratt has been over 110 yards in all but two games this season and has scored in all but one game this year. If he keeps this up, he’ll be the top wide receiver in the Heisman Trophy race.
