NFL DFS bargain bin: Week 8 Quarterbacks

NOTE: DUE TO TIME CONSTRAINTS THIS WEEK, THIS IS MORE OF A “QUICK HITS” VERSION OF THE BARGAIN BIN, DESIGNED TO STILL IDENTIFY THE GOOD PLAYS, BUT WITHOUT AS MUCH OF A WRITE-UP ON EACH.

Ryan Tannehill, TEN vs. TAM:

(DraftKings-$5,100/FanDuel-$6,900/FantasyDraft-$10,000/Yahoo-$22)

Tannehill came through as a recommended value play last week by eclipsing the 300-yard mark at the expense of the Chargers. His price remains low across the industry and he faces an even better matchup this week in the form of a Bucs squad that’s struggled against the pass all season.

Derek Carr, OAK at HOU:

(DraftKings-$5,000/FanDuel-$6,900/FantasyDraft-$10,300/Yahoo-$25)

Carr has been an improved quarterback under head coach Jon Gruden, and he’s already demonstrated he can succeed even with an injury-riddled receiving corps. The Texans have been much tougher against the run and therefore have funneled plenty of action toward the air, where Carr will be set to thrive again.
