NFL DFS bargain bin: Week 8 Running Backs

NOTE: DUE TO TIME CONSTRAINTS THIS WEEK, THIS IS MORE OF A “QUICK HITS” VERSION OF THE BARGAIN BIN, DESIGNED TO STILL IDENTIFY THE GOOD PLAYS, BUT WITHOUT AS MUCH OF A WRITE-UP ON EACH.

Sony Michel, NE vs. CLE:

(DraftKings-$5,200/FanDuel-$6,500/FantasyDraft-$9,500/Yahoo-$20)

Michel is seeing a steady workload, and even though is passing game role is always a bit iffy, his bargain prices across the industry make worthy of a look in Week 8. The Browns are getting healthier and therefore tougher in the secondary, but their run defense has been vulnerable throughout the season.

Ty Johnson, DET vs. NYG:

(DraftKings-$4,900/FanDuel-$5,200/FantasyDraft-$10,100/Yahoo-$13)

Johnson is going to carry heavy ownership, but he should be in for a solid workload in place of Kerryon Johnson (knee) while J.D. McKissic potentially gravitates more toward change-of-pace/passing down work. Johnson isn’t as cheap as he could be on some sites, but the matchup against the Giants is an appealing one.
