Deshaun Watson ($39 salary)

Deshaun Watson looks like one of the top plays of the week against an Oakland Raiders team surrendering 301.67 passing yards and 2.67 touchdowns per game to opposing quarterbacks. Those numbers jump to 348.66 passing yards and 3.33 touchdowns against QB1’s, numbers that would be even higher if we excluded Kirk Cousins who struggled early in the season (436 passing yards and 4.5 touchdowns per contest). Priced like one of the top projected producers for Week 8, it will take some doing to be able to fit Watson into your lineup. With that said, we have all seen his ceiling this season, and on a weekend when Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson are both off of the main slate, there is no better option than the young Texans signal caller.

Chris Carson ($27 salary)

Chris Carson has looked incredible this season. He leads the league in yards after contact thanks to three consecutive outings in which he racked up over 100 yards after contact. The Atlanta Falcons defense has allowed 96.14 rushing yards and 0.71 touchdowns per game on the season. However, they have limited opponents to 3.72 yards per carry, which is where Carson’s ability to break tackles and pile up yards after contact comes in. The Seahawks are projected to win this contest which should allow for the necessary gamescript for Carson to have a big day on the ground. Also the Sehawks preferred receiver out of the backfield, Carson will look to take advantage of a Falcons team surrendering 4.14 receptions and 30.34 receiving yards per game.

Latavius Murray ($18 salary)

Latavius Murray is the top choice here if Alvin Kamara is ruled out. He ran wild on the Chicago Bears to the tune of 119 rushing yards with two touchdowns and five receptions for 31 yards. He had 32 touches in the win. The Cardinals have allowed 4.36 yards per carry to opposing running backs. If Kamara ends up playing I will be deciding between Ty Johnson against the New York Giants, Derrick Henry against the Atlanta Falcons, and Carlos Hyde against the Oakland Raiders.
