Dan’s Dumpster Dives: FanDuel NBA value plays

Mike Scott — FanDuel $3700

Just for clarity purposes, Mike Scott does not play for the Clippers anymore (and neither does Tobias Harris). In fact, they are still teammates but now it’s in Philly. Philadelphia has already said Embiid is doubtful which opens up a ton on the frontcourt for the Sixers in regards to minutes and usage. Obviously, Mike Scott isn’t a direct one-to-one replacement for the gigantic Embiid but he is likely to see more run and get more usage. This was evidenced against the Pistons recently when Embiid was out and Scott managed to get 22 minutes and 22 fantasy points on FanDuel.

Ersan Ilyasova — FanDuel $4100

For all that is holy, please do not play all three Milwaukee value guys together. In fact, don’t play two of them together. Ersan has been a solid value as he always is really. Sometimes in a season, his price will get a little too high and you can’t play him anymore until it comes back down. This year we’ve gotten him priced down and without Brogdon. He’s a bit sketchy at this price getting only 20 minutes but in two competitive games, he’s still seeing the floor and putting up points. I’m not sure if he’ll get more run as a seasoned veteran in what I’m assuming will be a blowout but he might and if so, I want to be there for it.
