NBA DFS Picks and Pivots – Monday, October 28
NBA DFS Picks and Pivots – Monday First Look:
We head into Monday’s NBA DFS slate with nine games on tap starting at 7:30 PM EST and with the NFL Sunday hangover, it is nice to see FantasyDraft boosting their NBA contests sizes as folks look to roll tose football winnings into Monday’s NBA slate. One thing to note – the FantasyDraft slate locks 30 minutes later tonight and EXCLUDES the 7 PM EST games between the Knicks-Bulls and Pistons-Pacers.
We have some solid 225 game totals on this slate with the Rockets-Thunder and Hornets-Clippers but both games have double-digit spreads in addition to the Bucks-Cavs which has a 15 point spread of its own.
Like every other NBA slate, this one is going to be all about injury news and the value that opens up. Jrue Holiday is questionable to play tonight which could once again open up a starting role for Josh Hart ($9.5K) while Brandon Ingram ($13.5K) is coming off a 60+ fantasy point game of his own against Houston that Holiday sat out.
Hart would become an auto-play once again if Holiday is ruled out as this is a player who has gone for 30+ fantasy points in every single game this season and yet still remains priced under $10K on FantasyDraft. Hart is averaging 33.5 FP/G which would put him over 3.5x value at this price point tonight with a similar outing.
The Warriors have started the year with two blowout losses and with Kevon Looney out again tonight we should get another start out of Marquese Chriss ($6.2K) who started against OKC on Sunday and put up 25 FP in only 23 minutes.
Lastly, Zach Collins dislocated his shoulder last night in Portland’s game which pushed Kent Bazemore ($7.1K) into the starting five to close out the Blazers game and we could see a similar rotation here on the B2B against the Spurs.
