FanDuel NBA breakdown – GPP Plays

Kristaps Porzingis (9,000) – Slowly but shortly FanDuel is raising his price to a more appropriate price. Until he gets around 10k I will have plenty of interest in the unicorn, especially in GPP’s where he keeps being low owned, and continues to smash opposing teams. Against Portland we finally saw his minutes get above 30, and as a result he put up 32 real points. He actually overtook Luka in usage at 32%, and has 1.45 FPM. This is a great GPP play with so many other studs on the slate he will likely get overlooked.

Trae Young (9,400) – Trae is taking over the NBA and nobody is talking about it. He leads the Hawks with a 38.6% usage rate, and 1.61 FPM. He has put up multiple games of more than 50 fantasy points, and almost 40 real points in each game. His ceiling is one of the highest at the slate, and he has showed his floor is much higher than it was last season, making him a great GPP play.

Jaren Jackson (7,400) –  Jackson is about as true of a GPP play as it gets. He has a very high ceiling, but a low floor as well. If he does not get into foul trouble, his minutes will be in the high 20’s, but he can also play 15. He posts a 24.4% usage rate, and 1.10 FPM and will be needed to match up with Anthony Davis. Like I said if he can avoid foul trouble, he will be a great GPP play.
